Licenses
All children under the age of 16 must be licensed by the Local Authority for any performance work, whether it’s in the entertainment industry or for media projects, including film, TV, and theatre.
Regardless of whether the job is paid or unpaid, a license is always required. The process of obtaining a license can take up to 21 days, but typically it takes around 10 days to process. It’s important to factor this time into your planning to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
If you are unfamiliar with how to navigate the licensing process, we are here to help. Our team is available to offer advice and guidance throughout the application process to make sure everything runs smoothly.
For production companies, we can handle the application for child performance licenses on your behalf. We charge a fee of £50 per license to assist with this process, ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted on time.

Our Rates
We are always guided by the budgets of our clients, so if you have one, please let us know what it is and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We understand that every project has its own budget, and we strive to accommodate that.
If you have a set budget in mind, please share it with us, and we will do our best to work within those parameters.
For our kids’ services, our standard rate is £60 per hour, with a minimum booking of 2 hours.
In addition, we request a chaperone fee of £150 for the mother, as well as coverage for travel expenses.
Given that young children can be unpredictable, we recommend booking more than one child if your budget allows.
This can ensure a smoother and more flexible experience.
