About the project
Twenty-seven children represented by Kids Talent Agency took part in the Department for Education’s Get Into Teaching campaign.
The advert was broadcast on national television and shared through social media. The children worked together to support a campaign encouraging more people to consider a career in teaching.
Coordinating a large group of young performers required the children to respond consistently to direction while showing a range of natural expressions. Their combined contribution helped the advert communicate the campaign’s message across several short scenes.

What parents should know
Commercial casting is based on the needs of an individual campaign. Age, appearance, location, availability and the ability to work comfortably on set can all influence the final choice, so a submission or audition cannot guarantee a booking.
Parents should confirm the schedule, travel arrangements, usage terms and their child’s practical needs before accepting work. The child’s welfare and willingness to participate must remain the priority throughout the production.
Keeping profiles, measurements and availability current helps an agency submit only suitable children and families. It also reduces avoidable delays when a casting brief has a short response deadline.
