About the project
Nine babies represented by Kids Talent Agency shared a role in The Ferryman at London’s Gielgud Theatre. Hayden was among the babies who rotated through the production schedule.
Using several babies allowed the theatre company to cover performances while limiting the demands placed on each child. Parent testimonials describe rehearsals, regular appearances and support from the cast and crew.

Family feedback
Hayden has been chosen to appear in a new show in the West End, he is amongst 9 babies to take turns 2 nights a week in the show. Having great fun in his first rehearsal this week. In another job, Mum and Dad also happy to have taken part in an interview with Take a Break magazine, awaiting the issue date. Keep the jobs rolling in and many thanks for the emails to keep us updated. — Hayden’s dad
Almost straight after signing up we got sent jobs through to apply for. Pretty much the first one we applied for we got a casting and audition call. Now our little one has a regular roll (twice weekly) in a West End play. The cast and crew are very friendly and adore the babies (he’s part of a pool of babies) and our little boy loves the excitement and all the attention. — Gareth, parent
Molly was chosen to be in a West End production starting this month. Audition/meet went really well and so happy with how everything was handled. We are excited to be apart of this along with 9 other beautiful babies. Keep the jobs coming! — Molly’s mum, Krystel
What parents should know
Theatre work requires dependable availability for rehearsals and performances. Productions involving babies may rotate several children through one role so that schedules remain manageable and appropriate.
Parents should confirm transport, call times, supervision and the practical demands of the venue before accepting a role. A child’s comfort and welfare remain more important than completing a performance.
Families should also understand how long the production is expected to run and how absences are handled, since a recurring stage role involves a different commitment from a one-day shoot.
