About the project

Noah and his mum were cast together in a Thomas & Friends television commercial. The production brief required a genuine mother-and-child pairing rather than two unrelated performers.

Their established relationship helped create natural interaction on camera. Noah’s mum describes the opportunity and the family’s experience with the agency in her feedback below.

Family feedback

This job was for a real mum and son! I am a real mum and Noah has been with the agency for almost five years. They are awesome, caring people. They have a great, sweet, beautiful community of children and parents inside and out. My son was accepted back in 2017. The agency explained everything to me. My son was accepted quickly and soon after signing up with them this project can through. I am looking forward to doing more work with this company. I’m excited and can’t wait. Thank you very much. Fingers crossed! — Mum

What parents should know

Commercial casting is based on the needs of an individual campaign. Age, appearance, location, availability and the ability to work comfortably on set can all influence the final choice, so a submission or audition cannot guarantee a booking.

Parents should confirm the schedule, travel arrangements, usage terms and their child’s practical needs before accepting work. The child’s welfare and willingness to participate must remain the priority throughout the production.

Keeping profiles, measurements and availability current helps an agency submit only suitable children and families. It also reduces avoidable delays when a casting brief has a short response deadline.
